START WITH LOVE:
0. Love is a Verb; an ACTION Word
As a powerful woman of God, you must have a full awareness of the power of love. You start with your love for God. This love flows outward from your core to include yourself, your family, friends, associates, strangers, humanity and all of creation. Love is a state of mind. Love is a practice. Love is more than just a nice word to throw around so that everyone gets warm and fuzzy feelings inside. Love is real. Your decision to follow this Hiyaah-Powered Life Lesson Plan, demonstrates the power of love moving and working in your life.
˜ LOVE ( 1 Co 13:13)
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not Love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not Love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not Love, it profiteth me nothing.
Love suffereth long, and is kind; Love envieth not; Love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Love doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Love rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Love beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a (Wo)man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"God is Love. I am Love. You are Love. We are Love."

1. Ask. Believe. Receive.
-
Joh 16:24
-
Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
No one can read your mind. God knows your thoughts and yet you are still required to ask. The Bible says, "You have not because you ask not." A powerful woman must be bold enough to ask for what she wants and demand what she deserves. She must advocate for herself, her children and all those less fortunate and/or powerful than she is.
Mt 9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
Express your needs & desires. Watching you do this will empower others to do the same. This is how you teach others to be authentic and to be bold.
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I ask, believe and receive all good things in my life now."

2. Your Best Friend Is Within
Jas 2:23
- And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
To have a good friend, you must first be a good friend to others and to yourself. Think of all of the qualities that you would like to have in a friend. Pray, meditate and ask God to bring those qualities out in you. When you have developed these qualities within yourself, people of caliber will arrive in your life as if they were hand picked by God...because they have been.
Remember that you already have the best friend that ever lived in Christ, who told us that there is no greater love than to give one ’s life for her or his friends. How many friends have you ever had that would sincerely give their lives for you?
Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?
In Christ, you are never alone. You have two of the best friends in the world in Christ and yourself. Everyone else is just a bonus...an added BLESSING in your life.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"God is the best friend I have ever had."

3. Speak UP & Stress DOWN!
Eph 6:19-20
19 ...and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Suffering in silence will stress you out and slowly eat away at your insides. As women we have been taught to take care of the needs of others at the expense of our own needs. This is foolish. If we do not care for ourselves there will be nothing left of us to care for anyone else. We must put our own names on our "To Do" lists. Furthermore, we need to let our needs be known. Make no mistake, the stress of suffering in silence will eventually render us useless to ourselves and others.
Stress quite literally manifests as illness and disease in the body. So be bold & speak the truth even when you know others may disagree with you. You have a right to responsibly express your feelings. You have a right to say that you are tired when you are tired, hungry when you want to eat and fed up when you have had enough. Now, this does not mean to go around complaining all of the time. Endless complaining will give power to negativity and only make things worse. Remember; we tweak the things we speak. So speak righteously!
When you feel internal stress, simply take a deep breath, state how you feel and move on. This is how you can honor your feelings and state of being. Then through God you can take them to the next level. Holding things in can hurt you--physically, mentally and spiritually. Also, there are some things that perhaps you only need to speak about to God. Becoming a powerful woman is about knowing what things to speak up about to people and what things to take to the Lord in prayer.
Proverbs 25:11
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.
In being bold, however, do remember to be considerate! Temper your words with Wisdom & kindness if and when you choose to speak. Your words have the power to uplift or bring others down. This power is from God. Pray before you use it. Remember, honesty is not an excuse for cruelty. There is nothing nastier than someone who goes around hurting other people's feelings and saying, "Well, I was just being honest!" Pray before you "say". Also, God will not lay on your heart to open your mouth for the sole purpose of insulting and breaking someone's heart. This is not stuff that little girls can process or understand. These are complex and fine distinctions. As a Hiyaah-Powered woman, however, you are up to the task.
Prov 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit."
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I express and relieve my stress with every breath."

4. Be Yourself & FREE Yourself
Ro 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Go the "road less traveled" even when others are following along with the crowd or being slaves to trends. Dare to be different. Dare to be YOU! Independent thinkers are rare in this world. To be a powerful woman one must be able to think for herself—especially when everyone around her is attempting to form and fashion her life for her. Other people are always experts on other people's lives while their own lives are a mess. Do not endeavor to follow other people. Follow God and ask God to reveal the REAL you to you. Only God knows.
Your greatest Truths lie in your struggles. Our greatest strength and Wisdom is often earned through our struggles during the most difficult times of our lives. Be willing to risk others not liking you. True friends are more easily distinguished when you live authentically. When you are false...so are all your 'friends'. People who withdraw their support, friendship and concern from you because you will not be and live as they see fit, are not your friends anyway. So be yourself as God reveals you are to be! Those who stick around just may be real friends afterall.
If God is for you, who can be against you?
Ps 27:14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am now free to authentically be ME!"

5. Just Say NO Cause God Said So!
Mt 5:37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
FACT: You can not please people.
Do not say "yes" to things that you do not want to do just to please other people. Some people are going to think the wrong things or say bad things about you to your face and/or behind your back no matter what you do or say or do.
You can not please people! It is not your job. Trying to please people is a great way to waste your life. Then after you are dead those same people will either be dead too or still displeased. They will walk passed your coffin, look down at you, sniff and say, "You never did make me happy..."
In order to truly be pleased, people need to meet God on their knees. People pleasing is a trap. You can not win. Therefore, know who you are in God and just 'be'. That way at least you are always at peace & harmony with yourself and your Creator.
Christ lived His entire life to please God. People talked about Him. People hated and eventually killed Him. After remaining true to God and Himself, Christ returned to His Authentic state of Life Everlasting and unity with God. Christ knew that each moment was dedicated to living for God and fighting against evil and its influences. This is what we are all here to do.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Each time we try to please people at the expense of our relationship with God...we move further and further from God. The further from God we are, the more pain we feel.
*Remember the sure fire road to complete unhappiness is to live your life trying to make other people happy. You can't make people happy. Don't try. Please God.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am pleasing to God everyday in every way."

6. Desert Those That HURT
2Sa 22:4
I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I was saved from my enemies.
If something or someone is causing you pain physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually...be brave and intelligent enough to get out of the situation. If someone is hurting or disrespecting you, get away from the individual and find a safe place among friends-- even if the only friends in attendance sometimes are God & YOU. That will do just fine.
It is important to know that if you are already in a very violent situation that you must discretely seek help, assistance and make a plan. If, however, your situation is not violent but you are dealing with someone who disrespects you "subtly" with little remarks, insults, put downs, etc., put distance between you and this person immediately. You cannot afford such a person in your life. You are worth more than that. God has more in store for you.
Realize that a cruel trick is played on us the longer we deal with people who disrespect us. This treatment may become "familiar". We may lose our ability to see it for what it is over time. Distance yourself from people who hurt, insult, degrade or disrespect you. It is hard because sometimes the people that negate our worth and criticize us the most are the people we love the most. This can be heartbreaking. So yes, it may feel difficult at first but pray, read a book, especially the Bible, journal, go for a walk. Do something to reconnect with your own inner sense of yourself. Cry if you must because it does hurt to have to distance ourselves from some people even if they are hurting us. Just hold on though. Be strong through God. God is going to dry your tears. God is going to heal the pain. You just have to take a step in the right direction and God will carry you the rest of the way. You must desert the hurt!
After you separate yourself, pray and connect with your own inner sense of yourself, you can decide whether or not this person or people are worth dealing with any further. Then you must tell them about how they have made you feel. If they apologize and if you feel it is sincere you may be inspired to consider giving them a chance to correct the problem. Some people are worth this investment and can learn from past mistakes. Some people are just "stuck on stupid" and most definitely are not worth the effort. If the person denies, defends, makes excuses or tells you that you are wrong, stupid, crazy, etc. for feeling as you do, distance yourself for good from this person. Do this in love and forgiveness. Take no bitterness or resentment away from this situation...but DO IT! Let go and let God.
2Sa 22:49 He frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my adversaries; You rescue me from violent men.
Again, distance yourself from people who disrespect you. You cannot afford this kind of energy in your life. Many people have their own internal issues and emotional problems. You can not see their hearts, their minds or their spirits. All you can see or feel is their effect on you. If their effect on you is harmful or negative..."they gots-to-GO!" Never allow yourself to be harmed physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually by anyone. God loves you tooo much for that.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am saying GOODBYE to everyone who makes me sad & cry."

7. Can God BE in Your Body?
1Co 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own...
Your body is optimally important. It houses your miraculous Mind and your Divine Spirit. Feed it. Move it. Love it---& please Clean it! (Let it laugh!)
Your body is the reflection of your mental, emotional and spiritual states and vice versa. Without your body you could not experience the richness of life on this planet. Without your body you could not enhance the life experience of others. Without your body you could not do God’s work and achieve the mission you were sent here to achieve. Your body is precious. For this mission you will only be issued one body so care for it and use it well.
As a woman your body is for the glory of God. It is not to be used as a toy for men or boys. The man that you allow to touch your body must do so with respect, kindness and an appreciation of you as God's daughter. Pray to be released from the epidemic of desperation that is causing so many women to allow themselves to be disrespected. We are not B's, "hoochies" or whores. We are the blessed daughters that God adores.
Mt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
Guard the health of your body with your life. Never misuse it or allow anyone else to misuse or abuse it. Give your body good food, exercise, relaxation, laughter and lots of love. Manage and protect your body from stress. Stress is your body's #1 enemy. It attacks slowly and secretly masks itself as other issues, diseases and concerns. Learn what stress is and take serious action to manage stress in your life. Protect and care for your body and it will serve you well. For more information on the 60 minute stress reduction CD called, "Less Stress With Every Breath" e-mail LBLacey@HiyaahPower.org.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"My body is a healthy, peaceful and stress-free place for God to dwell within me."

8. It's Time to Mind Your Mind
Pr 9:9
Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still;teach a righteous man, and he will learn more.
Your Mind is a powerful control center in your life. It effects your Body & speaks to your Spirit. Read with it. Think with it. Learn with it. TEACH! The Bible says that as we think we shall be. This is HUGE! Often times our most challenging life lessons are going on within our minds. The battles for our souls are often fought within our own minds. Our minds can free us or cause us to live in prisons of our own making. We must bring God into our minds and keep our thoughts on God's Word. This will strengthen our minds and give us a sense of peace and well being internally.
-
Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
If we really think about it, we can see that most of our stress and worry is within our own minds. If we master our minds we can master our lives. How can we do this when it seems so often that our minds "have a mind of their own"? We can do this through God. God has promised to keep our minds in perfect peace if we keep our minds on God. This is the only way to remain sane in an insane world. Daily prayer and meditation will expand and protect your mind.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"Through God my Mind, Soul and Body are FREE!"
Eph 4:23
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"Everything is fine here in my mind!"

9. Begin to Honor the Spirit Within
Ps 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my spirit rejoices; my body also rests securely.
-
Honor your spirit. It energizes your Mind & animates your Body. Listen to it. Love through it. Heal yourself & others through its Light. Your spirit is powerful and in constant connection with the Creator. Your spirit is the learner and the teacher of all of your lessons. By connecting with God spiritually everything else in your life can be transformed, reborn and restored. Prayer and deep meditation, which is only the act of being still and listening for God’s voice is vital to honoring your spirit and to your relationship with God. It is up through your body, your mind and out through your spirit that you praise and worship God.
Your body will pass away but your spirit has a date with destiny and God in eternity.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"My spirit is transformed, reborn and restored through God."

10. The Body,Mind,Spirit Purpose is for God's Service
2 Timothy 1:8-9 So don't be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel, relying on the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.
Begin to see your wholeness through God. The connection of your Body,Mind,Spirit is YOU. It is God. It is us. It is All. Ask God to reveal to you your place in the scheme of things. Ask God to show you your Purpose. You were created and sent into this world to fulfill your Purpose through God...nothing more, nothing less.
You will never feel happy, whole or really satisfied with life until you accept that you, your Body,Mind,Spirt are here because of and for God. Pray and meditate on this. When God reveals your Purpose to you, everything else in your life will fall into place.
Be advised: When we begin to ask God to reveal our Purpose in life, things begin to change.
Reality is bent when we wholly invite God to enter into our lives and reveal our Purpose. Your current situation will be transformed and reformed in order for God to reveal the the Purpose of your life to you. Your life will certainly change. Some of the changes may seem difficult at first but have faith. God has the bird’s-eye-view. What looks like a negative thing from our limited perspective is a BLESSING bestowed from God’s perspective.
Ask for your Purpose and you shall receive it. Do not be afraid...but do be ready.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"God is showing me my Purpose now."

11. Ready & Open to Obey...TODAY?
- Ps 37:31
The instruction of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.
- God has a mission for you--just for YOU. Be open to God's instruction. Make yourself available to others who may need your cooperation. Pay attention to the projects or requests that cross your Path. Stay prayerful and in the Word during this process for for the sake of discernment.
When awaiting instruction form God, you must be aware of those who may seek to impose their own agendas onto you. When people make requests or demands, go to God, your Source before responding to them. Seek God’s Divine Guidance in all things.
Be ready to move on and to pursue what God gives you. If you remain prayful and in the word, God's instruction should be very clear to you. It will stick out. It may indeed seem quite unusual. You have got to be open and ready to obey...or you will miss the opportunity of your lifetime. Are you ready?
There are times when God sends people and situations into our lives in order to move us along our Paths. Do not miss the opportunity to go where God sends you. Be open so that you do not miss God’s instructions for your life. Just pray and read the Word of God. There is power in the Word. When you read you tap into that power and "charge yourself up". A Hiyaah-Powered woman super-powers herself with the Word of God.
Without the Word, prayer, meditation and study you are open to deception. With a powerful infusion of the Word and prayer you are "ever-ready" and open to God's instruction. Do as God directs you. Obey. Do not be hard-headed in any way about this. Pray. Be ready. Obey.
Ex 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
(And we all know what Pharaoh's hard-headedness got him!)
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am open and ready to obey God in every way everyday."

12. Don't Get Washed Away in the Ocean of Emotions
1Sa 1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish.
All of your emotions are a part of you---including happiness, resentment sadness, fear, joy, ANGER, etc.! Find productive/ healthy ways to express your feelings. Journaling is one of the most excellent ways to express your emotions. Please use the space provided here to journal and purchase a blank journal when you need more space. Journaling is a POWERFUL way to manage your emotions instead of allowing your emotions to manage you.
Sickness is simply negative emotions that over time are manifested in the body. Unmanaged emotions are stress and stress destroys the body. 90% of all visits to the doctor are due to stress related problems. Cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, depression and even suicide can be linked back to stress. Remember stress over time manifests as disease and disease over time manifests as...death. It is not God's will that we be overcome by negative emotions and stress. We must pray, meditate and seek other support as needed to manage our emotions.
Eph 4:31
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

13. Fear fear!
2 Ti 1:6-7
Therefore, I remind you to keep ablaze the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.
Dig very deeply, passed the surface of this axiom: "The only thing to fear is fear itself."
Make a list of all of the positive things that you really want to do in your life. Which one are you most afraid to attempt? Do that one soon!
Fear will keep you from fully experiencing your life’s Purpose. God does not want us to live in fear. Mark a day in your calendar to do that first most terrifying yet positive and productive thing that you have always longed to do and just do it.
Dive in.
There's nothing to it but to do it!
Joh 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Conquer just one of your greatest fears...and the rest will be easy. Do not sacrifice one more day of your precious and numbered-days to fear. Life is too short to fail to live and live to fail.
Fear is failure. Are you going to stand for that?
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"As I face my fear it begins to DISAPPEAR!"

14. Old But Still GOLD
|
|
Matt 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets |
Reciprocity is more than just a notion. It is a Divine law. Christ told us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. This is very good instruction from one who came straight from Heaven to share the secrets of the Universe with us. Christ knows how Reality works. What goes around surely does come around and He gave us excellent teaching on this. Have you learned?
Let us move passed any old revenge centered appreciation of this lesson. Let us look toward the inner desire we all have to loved and to be understood. Give what you want to receive. Teach what you would learn. BE what you want to see. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do not want to be judged and criticized by others...do not judge and criticize others.
The Golden Rule is indeed old but it is still GOLDEN!
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am a reflection of the kindness, love and mercy I seek."

15. To Change; "think dIfFerReNt" or Remain the Same
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
-
Commit the following definition to memory:
Insanity- doing the same things that you have always done and expecting different results.
Following this plan is all about changing the way you think and act in your life. It is about living more fully and abundantly in your life from day to day. It is about the power of making a decision to change. Your new life begins with your decision. Just the fact that you are reading this is a testimony to the fact that you have the power to change your life through God...and you know it.
Please take this opportunity to let go of all of the things that have held you back in the past. Write them down on a piece of paper, burn them, flush them down the toilet or do whatever you need to do to get rid of your old thinking. This is a symbolic act but doing it begins to change internal energy within your body, mind and spirit. So please, write it all down...pray, and cast it all away.
You are different. You have always known it. Now you are going to walk in it and embrace what God sent you here to be. Your mission is unique and you have been uniquely blessed to achieve it.
- Lu 18:11
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Think different! Embrace your future.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I am the perfectly formed & miraculously made creation of God."

16. Live LARGE with God in Charge!
Joh 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
-
Playing small truly serves no one. Deep down you know how great you are. Do not let the fear that others will be jealous or hate you keep you from shining your Light. Hiding your Light under a bushel or refusing to use your talent is a sin and a shame. It blocks God blessings from you. It also blocks God’s blessings from flowing to others they were intended to bless.
Lu 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
God’s plan for you all along was that you shine as bright as the stars. God is no respecter of persons so no one has been set above YOU before God. No one is "special" but every one is great and extraordinary in God’s eyes. Who else’s eyes matter?
There has never been one other human being on the entire face of the earth who is exactly like you. And there NEVER will be. You are IT! This is Divine and bears repeating...
There has never been one other human being on the entire face of the earth who is exactly like you. And there NEVER will be. You are IT! This is Divine.
Be who you came here to be because no one but you can give this world the unique gift our Creator sent you into the world to give. The gift is YOU. Your gifts are priceless and irreplaceable. If you fail to give your gifts to the world, the entire world will miss out on the gift that God sent you here to give.

Ps 72:7

17. Become Wise Through Life Lessons in Disguise
- 2 Ti 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Look forward to your life's lessons. HINT: They are disguised as "mistakes". If you never made a mistake how would you learn and grow as a person? We evolve through adversity & challenges. While we do not want to go out 'looking for trouble', we do not need to live in fear of hardships either. They will come. We will deal with them through God...and we will learn. This is the only way to grow in Wisdom. Wisdom is more precious than gold!
Pr 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Each time we make it through a difficult life lesson we become stronger, smarter, more loving and wiser. Our pain makes us more human. We then have powerful testimony to share and to help uplift others for the glory of God. Life has a rythmn. There are ups and down. In good and bad times remember: "This too shall pass."
So embrace your life lessons. Learn & teach from each.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I see every day as a lesson-learned to bless the next day for the rest of my life."

18. What's in a Name?
Ex 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Protect your good name and reputation! This is about self respect, personal responsibility and honor. You want people to take you seriously? Keep it REAL. A Hiyaah-Powered woman does not play with her name and especially not God's name.
Your good name is worth more than gold or any credit card. Lose it and you may never get it back. Treat all people with kindness and respect. While many people may speak falsely about you behind your back, never stoop to their level and return evil for evil. God will handle them. You just handle your own business.
Focus on keeping yourself right. Do not run anyone else's name through the dirt. Not only would doing so be sinful, it will eventually come back to damage your own name and reputation. Do not trust or confide in people who spread gossip or ruin the reputation of others. You will be next on their list. Protect your good name and remember that association breeds assimilation. In other words; watch who you hang out with!
- Mt 6:9
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"I honor and respect myself and everyone God sends into my life."

19. Understand, Pray and Play Your Hand
Matthew 6: 6 - 8 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
-
The Creator has dealt us each the proverbial "hand of cards" to play. Some hands are PHENOMENALLY stacked in our favor. Some hands are good. Some are so-so. Others are just awful!
You have nothing to do with how good or bad your hand is. It is neither through your fault or to your credit. Recognize that each of them is a potentially winning hand--never a whining one.
Learn. Teach....breathe & just play your hand as dealt by God.
Be aware of the fact that God loves to take the people with the most awful looking hands and perform miracles in their lives. In this way, the world may know how mighty God is and what God can do. So take your hand...no matter how raggedy a little hand you have, pray over it and play it. Play it for all that it is worth! See what happens. Remember, you do not need luck...you have God!
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"God is working miricles with me as I am and my life as it is right now!"

20. Thank God & Non-Stop!
- Lu 10:27
So he answered and said, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.' "
-
Thank God every day and in every way for all the lessons, blessings and revelations of your life.
Write down at least 5 things that you are thankful for everyday. Thank God when you get what you have prayed for and thank God when you do not get what you have prayed for. God has answered just the same. If you did not get what you prayed for God knows why. You know nothing. Thank God for saving you from the right answers to wrongful prayers. Just thank God!
- 1Th 2:13
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Know that God works all things out for your ultimate good...because God loves you. God wants you to live a good life. God will not betray you, lie to you or leave you. God woke you today for a reason. Not everyone who went to sleep last night was awakened to this precious day. Thank God that you were called into another day. Pray that if it is God's will you will be called into yet another. If you are not to see tomorrow, pray and thank God for seeing Heaven.
You have LIFE! You may do with it what you will. Thank God for Life & Grace. Embrace the many blessings that this life has gifted to you. Thank God for the lessons you have learned. Thank God for delivering you from the pain of yesterday into this a brand new day. Thank God for the power and the freedom to choose how you will spend your life from this day forward.

- 1Ch 29:13

END WITH LOVE:
0. Love is a Verb; an ACTION Word
"But I say to you that listen,
Love your enemies,
Do good to those who hate you,
Bless those who curse you,
Pray for those who abuse you.
If one strikes you on the cheek,
Offer the other also;
& from anyone who takes away your coat
Do not withhold even your shirt.
Give to everyone who begs from you;
& if anyone takes away your goods,
Do not ask for them again. Do unto others as you would have them do to you."
Luke 6: 27-31
Say this simple affirmation daily:
"God is Love. I am Love. You are Love. We are Love."

Have you ever said to yourself, “I wish I could change……….…” or “If I only had larger or smaller…………..…….”? Having a negative body image affects all of us at one time or another. Unfortunately, because of low self-esteem or personal experiences, it haunts some more than others. But, even if you've learned to love your body and have come out of the “I wish” phase, mostly all women can sympathize with our girlfriends, daughters, sisters and mothers that still have to learn how to embrace, accept and love themselves. This article is for all my girlfriends who have felt the disappointment of trying on that pair of jeans that used to fit last year.
