Teens--

Have you ever wished you could ask a positive woman for advice on what to study in college?  Do you want to be able to bounce your ideas off an adult without fear of judgment?  Would you like to connect with awesome teens and women from across the United States?  If you answered yes, then the Hiyaah Power Girls eMentoring Program would be perfect for you. 

The purpose of Hiyaah Power Girls eMentoring Program is to connect our girls with dynamic women of color nationwide.  We provide a nurturing environment and positive mentoring relationships for young girls in 5^th to 12^th grades.  Mentoring has been proven to guard against the risks of educational failure, teen pregnancy, truancy and juvenile delinquency.  The strategies within this 2-year plan are designed to encourage young women to dream beyond the often-confining conditions of urban and rural life and reach out to professional women nationwide for guidance.  The majority of our mentors are professional members of the Hiyaah Power.com online community.  We represent women in education, law, ministry, entertainment, healthcare, publishing, technology, business, the arts and more.  For more information, please contact mentors@hiyaahpower.org.
